VR headset is on the rise on the market right now but its cost isn’t really going downhill. With that said, teens are experiencing virtual reality in VR arcades. Either on their free time or whenever they want to. To enjoy games they probably couldn’t afford.

VR gaming is a growing industry. It said that over $286.7 million the VR industry cost around last year and could even worth up to a billion-dollar industry by 2020, according to SuperDataResearch. Google also offer their own VR cardboard headsets for $15 to turn your smart phone into a somewhat VR headset.

But real gaming headsets cost more than that. An Oculus Rift costs around at $399 an HTC Vive will cost you around $599. These are headsets alone excluding computers or gaming equipment to get the ultimate VR experience at home.

There might be millions of personal VR headsets sold worldwide but is still not enough to call it wide-spread among teens. After all a million is just a portion of the entire population of America, let alone the world. And as said earlier, the cost of VR is expensive for regular income household to give to their kids.

So, the solution that teens think of are VR arcades. Kids are always looking for fun and what is more entertaining than virtual reality. Controlling your own character by your own movements are the coolest things kids can experience right now.

There are hundreds of arcades in New York and Hubneo VR Lab is one of the popular VR arcades out there. And will cost you just around $25 for half an hour. Some VR arcades around New York are also Yokey Pokey, Jump into the Light, Vrbar, VR World, and The Void that offers different kinds of games and experiences.

VR arcades are the same concept as arcades only differs from the games they offer. VR arcades’ main focus are virtual reality experience. They are tailored to experience what a true virtual reality experience is. They also offer games in different genres depending on what VR arcade you are in. From racing games, shooting games, music games and to RPGs. Basically, anything that VR offers you can experience it in a VR arcade.

According to teens that goes to VR arcades. A time at an arcade is better than just playing at home with nothing just a monitor to face you. At arcades, they can play with their friends. Change from game to game and even offer birthday parties.

But VR arcades aren’t for kids alone as they also cater adult events such as 3D paint nights and even face your fears night through VR through a variety of games and experiences that VR headsets offer.

The Virtual reality spaces make you feel who you wanted to be or experience a world out of your imagination. So that is why this kind of arcade are becoming popular not only to kids but to adults as well. VR might be expensive but right now anyone can experience it for a couple of bucks.
